That is pretty amazing, that hawk is in for a rough life. All his friends are going to make fun of him for getting his ass kicked by such a small snake :eek:

It's a good thing you got those pics or I'd have called BS on that one . That's the weirdest thing I've ever seen ..... well.......... maybe not , but it's right up there . Nice one !

What type of snake?
 
Yes, I was wondering what type of snake ? I am guessing it was a small "constrictor" type as opposed to the "poisonous" sort ... otherwise I guess the Falcon would'nt have survived. Plus the guy would'nt have been so keen to pick them up and untangle them.... although some people are more confident than others in handling poisonous snakes ...
 
I seen that happen last week. Kidding. That was too crazy to imagine. Great photos great story.
 
Nature never ceases to amaze. Thanks for sharing. I too am wondering on the type of snake. As it obviously isn't a coral snake, and from the pictures, it doesn't have the 'delta' shaped head of most vipers/venomous snakes, I'd guess it's probably not poisonous...but I'm no expert. I probably would have gloved up in any event.

And you know that snake's back in the den with the with his snake homies going 'Yeah, I kicked that falcon's ass...had that stupid human not interfered, my plan would have worked and I would have eaten it too!!!"
