Youth Survival Camp Video

Ten youth from our Venture Crew attended a survival camp. For some it was the first time they ever did a primitive camp. We practiced skills such as basic fire craft without matches or a lighter. They also built a survival shelter and camped in it. Then they had to harvest rabbits and the crew prepared it for our dinner.

Giood stuff man, plenty of grown men around that have never skinned and cleaned anything or really tried to make fire without a lighter and a gas station bundle.

Our air cadet squadron was run by an old english RAF pilot that really focused on shelter and fire building on our bimonthly weekend trips.

Hey Joe Thanks for watching. I am a subscriber to the E2E YouTube Channel.. I love what you guys do.. Great podcast as well. The weather in San Diego County was great! It got cold at night but the days were outstanding.. We got really lucky big rain storm this today..

Nice job! Hat is off to you! Question: is your purpose to teach thiese kids camping/wilderness skills or bug out survival ability or both? Or is this just intended as a fun camping trip? Curious what your intent is?
 
The youth wanted to do a wilderness survival campout. With that said we were going to do a plane crash theme. They chose to do a zombie virus theme we figured it was ok to go with that so the kids would be more motivated.
