YouTube knife reviewers

As others stated, only when I am researching my next knife will I watch a review
On it
Some of these reviewers are turning into performers and you have to decipher the review hidden within their act, dbk and Cedric come to mind. Absolutely they are established and kudos to them, but i don't need the theatrics all the time

The Youtube reviews are very useful just to see what the knife looks like in the hand. It's better quality than any official press photos on the website which are usually lackluster. Youtubers also have really good video cameras now. Don't watch them for their editorial content which is useless, just watch to see what the dang knife looks like in the hand, if it looks comfortable, if the size is too big or small, etc. If you don't live near a good knife store then video "reviews" are the next best thing.
Agreed. Except some reviewers/presenters have a tendency to wave the damned knife around so you can't see the details while mindlessly jabbering. If you are going to show it, hold it still or lay it on a table!
