Well I have made the jump to video :D

Please let me know what you think, and remember to keep your eye out for MORE videos. 3-4 more are uploading now and should be live in a few hours.

Also remember to click the lower right hand side to toggle "high quality" on.

Part 1 (Click me)

Part 2 (click me)

I'll watch both parts then i will try and post an honest unbiased review later, good job on taking the initiative to make a review.

In case some people are to lazy to click links, (:D I know I sometimes am)

Thanks but I didn't post them like that because Im not sure if you can watch in "high quality" this way. The videos are meant to be viewed in high quality.

I usually just watch mine in regular low quality, I can't stand waiting for videos to buffer, I will go edit the videos out my bad :foot:.

Though not specifically related to this video.. your review convinced me to buy TWO Bob Lum Chinese folders ;).
I like your breakdown of the specific features re: ergonomics, blade design, lock design/cautions/features - most reviews are nothing more than "it's SUPER SHARP" and "it locks up nice" and "it fits my hand like a glove x 3!!!"
Dig the reviews, though the carpet background does get a tad boring - perhaps a toolshop with various "hardcore" implements and costumes are in order :D

Nice job profiling the ergonomics of the Para-Military design and the Spyderco philosophy in general. Keep up the good work.....this will be a valuable resource for those who are considering purchasing the Para-Military.

- regards

Yes, ditch the shag and go full on sludge hammer :D

Now do you guys think I talk too much? Should I be working harder on making them under ten mins? When I watch a video review on a knife, I could care less.... as long as they are not blabing to be blabing.

What say you? Under ten better or just shoot them all on the fly (like I am doing now) and if they run over ...fine.

The Para is going to be my next knife, and I really want the D2 version. But is it available with a black handle? I don't like the green, it's vastly better than the brown Native, but I much prefer a black handle (or blue, or purple, just not ugly green and ugly brown).

Great review. You have a nice style. If you were to edit/combine both vids into one ten-minute feature, it would be just about perfect. Good job.

Your sebenza is so broken in. Mine doesn't flip open or close nearly that fast

You're doing a great job, length really doesn't seem like an issue to me. Mostly because you aren't rambling on and you do a good job of always doing something with the knife so we get different views and feels for it.

I like your vids and I think it would be really cool to see some more blade maintenance (disassembling, cleaning, maybe some sharpening tips)

Really awesome review So-Lo. Kept me entertained, and I actually checked out my Para while watching it.

I usually carry my Millie. Like the Lum video alot too, I look forward to more. Thanks, and keep up the good work!:D

Great vid....thanks much. My 3 Paras are in the mail!! One D2 FG and one black SE are going to be keepers. I'll probably be selling the satin PE that's on the way.

:D Your too kind..

Sal made us into "Para Junkies." :D
Now if we could get a better clip, knock the tang area down, and move that rear bump on the underside we would really have it made ;)

:D
