Youtube Reviewers/Channels

we do blade reviews and usage among lots of other "outdoorsy" stuff at usframe over at youtube.

and as I write this, we have been reviewing the to-do list, and there are no less than 75 blade reviews/use vids and articles planned for the next 3 months. We enjoy machetes, knives, and just about any ol' dang thing with a sharp edge.

The mention of channels we hadn't heard about is appreciated, thanks folks

Stefan Schmalhaus's videos are always delightful to watch. Here's his Kershaw Echelon review:

I also follow cutlerylover, xiuxiu1313, TheLateBoyScout, BladeHQ, and AussieMark909. Used to follow WeAllJuggleKnives, but the way he pronounces khukuri sometimes as "kukari" really started bugging me to the point that I couldn't watch his videos. Not saying that his reviews are bad and I've enjoyed them for the most part but for whatever reason I just couldn't stand the way he pronounced the word. It was just frustrating, like an itch on the inside of your esophagus that you can't scratch, so I unfollowed him. Now I just watch his videos whenever they pop up when I'm looking for a review on a knife, but I stay away from his khukuri videos.

If you're into traditional, European knives then schmalhaus has a great set of videos. He's posted a lot of them in the revies section here on bladeforums. Plus he's got that accent which I love listening to.

Here's a search that has a big collection of his reviews. He also goes into the history of the knives too which I find very informative.

I watch Blade HQ videos just because they offer the chance to see the knife really clearly - then I go and handle the knife to see if I actually like it - case in point - Hogue EX03:

MrDagon007 is worth a mention. He's got good taste (similar to mine) and is usually spot on.

Yeah. They're very good about lighting and reducing distractions in the background. I don't exactly trust them for unbiased reviews since they're a front for a store (not that they try in any way to hide this) but it is good for knives by brands that I'm familiar with and know how good their quality is and just want to see what the knife looks like.

I like CutleryLover and Nutnfancy, as well as MDPrepper. Those guys I could watch all day if I had the time!

Cutlerylover is the best by far. I always mean to send him stuff but then i forget. (plus ive never actually mailed somthing)

Culterylover , gavkoo , sherman614 , cr0cket20 , Thenextarcher , I do watch nutnfancy but the one main problem I have with him is his viewers , they worship him and go along with anything he says then go after you if you say you disagree with him and he's pretty arrogant

I've really enjoyed all of videos from jdavis882 and lately I've been drooling over some of the knives that Jim Skelton has been reviewing/showing off. I think both guys do a very nice job of describing the the pros and cons of the knives that they're reviewing/featuring.

My favorite is cutlerylover, his channel's pretty cool. I also watch tuffthumbz because he does some really really cool knife mods.

+1, one of the few reviewers I watch regularly.

Got to agree NUTNFANCY is a pretty good reviewer although he likes to add opinions that don't exactly relate to knives

I was wondering what your guys favorite YouTuber for gear and knife reviews. I personally like wealljuggleknives, cutlerylover, and X4CTO.
Not trying to advertise but if you would like my channel is bladesnmore. I'm a younger knife collector and was wondering if some of you experienced guys could give me some feed back? Thanks and god bless.

darkchild57, xiuxiu1313, pyaoliang, Jdavis882 there are more but those are the ones off the top of my head if I want to check out a video of a knife I want to buy

I started with Nutnfancy and CutleryLover, then expanded to more, but now since I know what I like in a production knife I don't really watch much reviews. Lately I've been watching the channels of custom makers and reviewers like TuffThumbs, Gavkoo, Elliot at FerrumForge, and Jim Skelton
