Rough Rider is (or was) a brand of condom.
But the most famous condoms are Trojans.
And Trojans are famous for letting Greeks penetrate their defenses in a big wooden horse.
And those Greeks were probably carrying kopides.
So it's a Busse Kopis.
Q.E.D.

But wait!

The Greeks used their kopides to poke holes in the Trojans.
Thus pierced, the Trojans found their impregnable city to be not so.
But Aeneas and a few others survived, and fled to Carthage.
But the Carthaginians kept playing Dido records, so Aeneas moved to Italy and started a new city.
After a while, a couple kids wandered off and got raised by wolves, and then founded another new city.
And that city was Rome.
And Romans used their Gladii to subdue those Greeks with their kopides.
So it's the return of the Busse Gladius!
