Yuna! Ka-ching!

so nice. I'm almost always a large fan of more plain, elegant looking knives with a simple design.

But Yuna definitely nails the more extreme designs.

There's no doubt he's a master craftsman and makes beautiful knives, but I would be interested to see how one feels in hand.

Please believe me when I say that I'm not trying to knock your great score in any way, but most of his work seem more like art objects than actual tools designed for everyday use. Not that there's anything wrong with that...collectors drive the custom market and keep makers like Yuna in business.

. . . collectors drive the custom market and keep makers like Yuna in business.
And more power to the collectors, I say. I suspect many popular makers would have a rough go of it without them.

I hear you 100%. I'm not a collector and one of the reasons I bought one of his knives is the Strider-ish look of the handle. I appreciate the way a Strider fits in the hand and I'm hoping the Yuna fits similarly.

Bad in-hand shot. It fits like a glove. The action is much like CRK, as is the fit and finish. I knew it was going to be good, but I'm floored.

Seriously, the finest knife I own or have owned.

They do really fit the hand quite nicely. They are 100% functional in every way. I do agree that they have an artistic look to them, but that look does not take away from their functionality. These knives were made to be used, not looked at.

Awesome knife Mrclean i've been admiring Yun's knives for awhile too. Congrats looks like a keeper, that blade style is awesome also.

Wow, great looking blades guys! Over the last year I've pretty much decided to save up for a Yuna, absolutely amazing designs and executions!

Thank you very much Mike and all for all kind words. Very appreciate! :)
I'm very happy to work with you, Mike. :D

Heck ya!

Keep posting pictures and your observations...I ordered a Mini Hard 1 from Yun about a month ago, same blade as yours but with an orange and blue G-10 scale. I plan to use the wee-wee out of it when it arrives. I did "custom" order mine with a blunted frame at the rear since I did not fully appreciate the pointy frame. I'll post pictures when it arrives. In the meantime, keep this thread alive!
