Yuna Knives Hard-II!

I just got package from Thailand this morning. Expected it tomorrow but because it crossed time line I have surprise today. Was not have a time to do set up to make pictures - just make two shots under Sun.

This is Hard-II with 4" drop point hollow ground ZDP189 laminated with ATS-34. Titanium+G10 handle (I asked for this color combination) with leaf-secured frame lock. Excellent fit and finish, excellent mechanics, and amazing look and feel! I am very happy now.

I will do more pictures today and will post them tomorrow. I will post later today when I came home more info - sizes, initial sharpness etc.

I think Yun buys steel and does Heat Treatment for his blades in Japan. And laminated ZDP189 probably is more available there then solid - remember, first ZDP189 blades (Callipso) here were laminated.

Few words on the deal.

I contact Yun over e-mail few months ago and ask for knife I like (Hard II drop point orange - red combo G10). He put me on the waiting list and when my time came send me pictures on blade and liners:

At that point I pay 30% of price using CreditCard over secure server and in a week or so I got another picture of my knife ready:

After I pay the rest Yun send it to me and in 3 day I get it by UPS on my door step! Usually it takes 5-6 day, but for me UPS did it faster for some reason.

It was pleasure to deal with Yun.
