Hi all,

Just finihed. It's called " Pran ". In Thai language it's mean the power. Blade shape is American tanto. Complex grinding, hollow in belly and flat in tip. The spec is ;

Blade length 3.5 " ( Mirror&Satin finished ) and 1/8" thickness.
Opened length 8 "
Blade steel ATS-34, 60.6 Rc.
Bloster - Heattreated 6AL 4V titanium
Handle mat. - Burl of Maka wood
Locking system - Liner and very solid
Liner&Spacer - 6Al 4V titanium
Pivot - Hardened SKD11(D2) dia. 1/4" with torx screws detant.
Washer - Teflon ( Smooth opened )
Thumbstud - SS and ivory inlay
Clip - Heattreated6AL 4V titanium

Good name. I think it is very appropriate that you use your language to name your knives.

I like the filework on this one more than any other knife that I've seen come out of your shop.

Since I'm not adept at sharpening, I'm not big on serrations.

The grinds are very nice.

The titanium bolster looks good with the burl. Matching the clip to it is a good idea. It helps the piece flow.

All in all, just what I'd expect from you. Nicely done.

I'm looking forward to your fixed blades. I hope I can afford one.

I would like it more without the serrations, but as always your work is stunning. Your knives are some of the nicest looking I have ever seen. Period.
