Yup, it's lost...

sorry for your loss, I lost a Leatherman Freestyle before Christmas sometime, and still miss it. The worst part is I think I probably lost it in my house, and I have a pretty darn neat house, but still can't seem to find it. At least it was just a Leatherman though, I'd feel worse about a nice Case or GEC or Queen. :(

Instead of searching everywhere just go to the last place you would ever look...after all you always find thing in the last place you look right?

Not me. When I find something, I keep on looking anyway. :D

My sympathies to the OP ..... losing a knife stinks. :(

I dont know what the heck it is, but, whenever I look for something I have lost, I end up finding some other thing that I lost before that. Sooooo, look for something else and you'll probably find your knife. :)

But I haven't lost anything else yet. Maybe I should, though. Now, where is that time machine. I just had it...

if you have anything like my luck you will give up looking and buy a replacement only to find the knife you lost right after you get the replacement.

Get in the backseat of your car and look under the driver's seat, between the seat frame and center console if there is one. Use a flashlight and look real good. 14% chance you will find it there, even if you have already looked.

Noodle is right. I've lost some nice folders and found them after sliding the seat forward.

Thread resurrection and update:
I FOUND IT!

It wasn't in my car.

It wasn't in an old pair of jeans.

It wasn't at work.

It was under my bed, for over a year. DOH!

Now that is good news!! I lost a small Sebenza Classic behind the bed for three weeks and thought it was gone forever. The clip caught on something when I took off my pants at night and it must if went sailing through the air. That was actually what started me putting a knife in my pocket vs. a clip. Now since I've moved to traditionals that is not an issue :)

Okay, something weird is going on. on January 8, we did inventory at work, and I lost an early 70's Buck 303 that my dad gave me. I found it fairly coincidental, since I lost the Queen during the last inventory we did. Well, last night, as I was going to bed, I look down, and found the Buck.

I think I need to buy a lottery ticket.

Next January don't even plan to take a knife. Or just go ahead and put it under the bed before you leave. That way you'll know where to look for it.

Seriously, really glad you found your Queen and the Buck. Lot of dejavoo going on there I'd say. - Ed
