Z2, C2, M2 or E2E?

If you are going to wear it on a holster I would suggest the M2. It will go well with your .45 The M2 has the shock isolated bezel so it will work well as a weapon light.

The E2E is also a great light. Can go into your pocket if you need it to.

The E2E is 1/2 the price of the M2.

In fact, I could get the E2E _and_ the custom holster for less than the price of an M2.

How do you carry the E2E?

I tried my E2 clipped to my belt. Seemed a little awkward, and tore up the leather.

I normally carry an E1, E2, G2, X5 or Mini-mag in my coat pocket.

It's just that:

I either have to have a zillion of them -- 1 for each coat, or I have to remember to grab a flashlight when I grab a coat.

or

2. I'm not wearing a coat!

I figure I'll be covered either way if I just holster something on my belt.

Already have the .45, and small fixed-blade by Bill Burke. Maybe a Leatherman Flair...
