  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

zaan thumb and comments

Well, my thumb has adjusted to unlocking my Zaan very well...faster than I thought. I started using the outside meaty part of my thumb, instead of the tip of it. No more pain. I realize the Zaan isn't made to be cycled over and over, but when I get a new knife, it's fun to get a feel for its operation initially.

I'm carrying it in my CRK belt pouch. It's actually my favorite knife right now. I still love my Seb, but I think my Zaan will be with me pretty much everywhere I can carry a knife.

After I removed the lanyard, the little bar it attached to dropped out, which I liked. I prefer the lanyard holes, like in my old Seb, over the lanyard bar attachment.

Besides being an excellent cutter, IMO the Zaan is a beautiful piece of work. Some people may think it lacks 'bling' or 'eye candy', but there is a beauty in 'just what's needed, no more and no less.'
