Since I don't see a laminant line near the sharp edge is the delica solid ZDP or did Spyderco find a way to blend layers of steel without the line ?

Sorry, I accidently put this question on the swanp rat section.

The ZDP Delica is NOT laminated. As far as I know, it is the first knife made with a solid ZDP189 blade.

Someone asked the same question recently and it was answered by Sal himself. Members before me are right. It's solid.

Any idea what hardness the steel is? I'd doubt the hardness is up around 67 which is claimed for William Henry laminated blades. JL

Yes Sal told it year ago when Calipso laminated blade was discussed. He promiced year ago that Delica will be solid and it is solid.

Thanks, Vassili.
