This has a neutral emitter, so very close to incandescent quality light. Crazy bright (for an hour), or crazy dim (forever), you choose with it's friendly UI. Engineered to run at max brightness on regular rechargeable AA or a lithium AA, so you don't have to get the super fancy rechargeables for max performance.
