I was asked to put two handles on some Luri blades, i think its named "skinner" an "little carver", im not sure of that.
The handle are from plum wood, inox, and red deer leg bone.Espetialy not make a skandinavian tipe handles, the customer use this knives in a proper activities, making fishing rodes, , i think is more dipendable in this configuration

Thanks man, this is my third knife i make ever, i dont have picture with it, just a video on youtube, with first tree pare of knives i make in that time :D

While I can certainly appreciate the artistic expression and craftsmanship on some of the knives posted on this forum, I am more the fan of usable, utilitarian knives.

Therefore, I LOVE the knives in this thread. No nonsense, utilitarian, working knives. I love natural wood...it has warmth and soul. While synthetics are perhaps more practical in real working knives, I just prefer wood. I like these knives a lot. Each seems to be well thought out and made to use in real-world circumstance. These are the type knives that attract me and I really appreciate the workmanship and practical designs.
