"Zero Blade Play" Production Folders

I've had very few folders that exhibited vertical blade play. I guess I've been lucky.

As far as horizontal blade play goes, the only folder of mine without any play is the Sebenza.

My Spydie Native 3 has zero blade play, same with the Military and the Dodo that have passed through my collection...

Of all my 35+ Spyderco's, my Military/SE, SS Cricket/SE and Scorpius/SE are the only knives I didn't have to tinker around with to correct the blade play. They're still rock solid.
I recently bought a SS Police/SE which is rock solid. I'm curious how long it wil stay that way

mini skirmish.....rock solid...rock solid...rock solid
timberline envoy.....rock solid
timberline med wortac.....rock solid
caly jr ZDP........rock solid (but my other one has developed a little vert click
native....a little just because the frn i believe
adventura.......rock solid......a little vertical though...not much

My Ka-Bar Mule is built like a tank, it has got aboslutely zero blade play, and due to the design I feel confident in saying it won't develop any for years to come, and if it does it won't be noticeable. Unfortunately, it's about the only folder I have that I can say that about.

The BM 610 Rukus I have, which is an axis lock, has no play in any direction. I attribute that to the knife being overbuilt, along with precision cut parts. I did use it to split a small diameter portion of limb, about 3" diameter and 12" in length. Had to use another piece, about the same as the piece I split, to baton the blade through. The only result was some resin on the blade which came right off with a little acetone. Bladeplay was at the same point as before the splitting.......absolutely zero. A limited edition BM balisong, the one with zen pins, is the only other knife I have that has no bladeplay in any direction. I'm expecting the Bradley Mayhem bali I have coming next week will also exhibit no blade play. :) :)
