The knife looks really good next to its brothers and sisters, I think I'm definitely getting one when it arrives at the local dealer.

I think some of us(I'm included) were a little OCD (overly critical disorder) about the green😆

A perfect little playmate for my brngd.

Literally an hour after my last post, I got a call from my dealer that the knife is here!

So here it is.

The excitement got tempered a little when I realized it cost the equivalent of 690 dollars!
Before you call me crazy 😨, unfortunately that's one of those fact of life living in a country with wildly unstable currency exchange.

This will be my EDC for the rest of today

This wouldn't be complete without some OCD rant.. 😅

The knife has a scratch /gritty action which is out of character for a limited edition ZT (my brngd is smooth right out of the box),
But I'm sure it'll improve since its brand new.

But then there is this

Centering issue! So not looking forward to fix this...

So that's that... Moving on with life, nothing to loose sleep over😂

That green is just so cool 😆

I have some knives I buy for collecting and some I buy for carrying. I also realize that different people on this forum buy for both of those reasons; some have strong opinions on use vs carry and you'll never find me judging someone for either reason. My question would be to those who are buying this to carry. Anodizing will wear with use. Do you have any concerns that as you carry the green anodizing will wear off basically removing the feature that caused this to be limited and the reason it carried a purchase premium?

I carry all my knives (collector edition or not), but I don't hard use them...
If a knife can past the Wife utility test, that's remove tags, cut loose threads , and open food packaging. Then I'll carry it😆
Besides let's be honest here, once your knife collection past a certain number, you won't use any single knife often enough to wear off its coatings..

Then again you get plenty of people who hard use their sebenzas....
Each to their own I guess.

The anodize is on the hardware, which is easily refurbished. Unique to this knife, as well as the green, Rick Hinderer manufactured and supplied green anodized hardware, is the black PVD coating on the scales and blade. Purchasers of any of the 392 series are able to retrofit or customize with other Hinderer hardware as they wish.

Some people will never do any more than enjoy the look of the knife and fondle and admire it, and others will use it and enjoy just how good a tool that ZT and Hinderer have made.

I carry and use mine, and my original 392 has some signs of wear around the outer lip of the blue clip, which makes it look like someone is using and loves the knife, in my opinion.

It looks
Like this one is cater to the green place, why not put the logo and called a day.:D

Damn it lai77120!!!, I was going to pass on this one but I have the 50th anniversary sub too. Somehow I never made the connection until I saw your post. I guess it's off to the secondary market for me. Congrats to all those who scored.

The black and green look fantastic!! That IS the best color combination yet!! Thanks for the wonderful pix! And congrats to those that scored one!!

I've owned all the 0392 series and this one is my favorite. The flipping action and closing seemed to get better with every release. This latest one is the smoothest opening and closing. The black scales are sweet, I even like that this one has a black lock bar stabilizer. The green hardware grows on you the more you use it.

I'm also in the all 4-0392 club. The green on the BLKGRN's hardware is pretty mild- the spacers are nice and bright but the carry clip and other hardware are muted. It looks good next to the working DLC finish on the scales.

I kinda dig it now that it's in hand.

FWIW - here is a video overview and my thoughts of the recent release:-)
