For the checklist you listed I would go with the 940 ... and I'm a ZT guy over Benchmade ... the ZT is a little stouter built knife marginally better steel ... but the ZT 450 is a bit small for my hand and for your uses the 940 will cover it no problem ...

now if you wanted to look at other knives as someone already mentioned the ZT 770 better than either ... and can be deassisted simply and is a great fipper even deassisted IMO.
