I bought this knife brand new in the original lottery from ZT. When I first received it, I carried and used it. This is not a safe queen by any means, but it was also not abused.
Let me start with the good: The fit and finish is simply flawless. The action is tremendous, and the blade drops under its own weight all the way closed. It is truly remarkable for a production piece. Lockup is extremely tight and early. The edge is very even and quite sharp.
Cosmetic issues: there are two small dents in the CF that I have tried to highlight in the video. One is on the lock side scale, above the clip screw on the chamfer. The second is on the presentation side, directly, 90 degrees above the pivot on the chamfer. The dark grey etching on the bottom CPM-D2 portion has a few discoloration marks and very light scratches. These are more apparent on the presentation side, but there is one noticeable one on the lock side. When I have better lighting tomorrow I will try and photograph these more accurately. The factory edge has been touched up on a Spyder UF stone and stropped.
It comes with all of the unique packaging, and will make a great user for someone who isn't interested in a safe queen.
