Zero Tolerance 0620CF vs 0562CF Photos

Just got the 620CF today. My first with the Emerson wave, so I'm not sure what to make of it. I'd say a bearing pivot system like the one in the 0562 would be the main thing I would change. Right now, even after loosening the pivot nut, I would compare the action to the 0700...not nearly as easy to open as the 0200.

She sure looks good, though...as does the 0562CF.

And my latest customized 0560 just for fun. The 560 is quite a bit larger than the 620 and the 562...not sure how easy it is to see that in the photo.

Excuse the lint...I vacuumed the photo tent out, but you see everything with the flashes.
 
It looks fantastic! I'm eagerly awaiting mine, whenever it comes from Dvor. Would it be possible to do a size comparison of the 0620 with the 0562?
 
Is that a CF/G10 composite scale on that 0560BLK? I used to have grips like that on my 1911.

Here you go...had this one and didn't post it since the color looks a little off on the blades. They're so similar in size, any difference is negligible at best.

I don't think it's a G10 composite, but heck, it could be...I'm guessing your grips were probably made by the same manufacturer. ;-)
 
Very nice collection and pictures KnifeHoarder with the great emphasis on carbon fiber. In that light, you should try and get a 0560CBCF and a 0777-M390(BLK).

Thanks, man! I agree...I'm eyeballing a 0560CBCF on eBay.

As for the 0777....The original 0777 (composite blade) is the grail for me...I don't know if a 0777-M390 would cure that or make it that much worse. :-)

I'm going to try like hell for the 0454 when they go on sale.

No doubt on the 0454!

Many accentuate the composite blade of the 0777 while I think the greatest aspect is the carbon fiber style, texture and finish. The frame of the 0777 is truly a masterpiece and it's the same in 0777, 0777-M390, 0777-M390BLK and 0777-M390BW!

I am a carbon fiber fan, but also a damascus fan...having the composite blade would tie the two together. What's a good price for one of the 0777-M390 variants? I've seen them on eBay for $949, but they've been up a while.

I'm not allowed to discuss actual prices with a non-paying member of BladeForums. The M390 variants are much easier to find except for the BlackWashed version which was only for Russia and quite a premium on pricing.

After payment make sure you go to Settings, then Permission Groups and click on Platinum. This will update your Display Group.

Is there actually texture machined on the CF for grip or is it just those small line cutouts?

No texture...just the "flutes" or whatever those are. It's not a bad grip by any means, but I'm more of a textured G10 guy for my daily carry knife, to be honest.
 
I'm also a G10 fan, although I really like the CF machined texture on the ZT0777. I may just buy the CF version and find someone who is willing to swap their G10 handle.
