In the locked position, the blade cannot be deployed until the lock is released. In addition, the CrossFire safety will prevent the lock from being disengaged while the blade is deployed. The 154CM blade features a drop-point tip and Tungsten DLC coating. This knife is ideal for a gloved hand.
