this is something I had been meaning to do earlier and never got to it.

I Recently purchased a ZT 0550 Gen 3 brand new that was sitting in a safe and never used. I was concerned with using or carrying it(never got to it) and possible warranty work on a discontinued knife. The person on the phone(sorry forgot your name) was very polite and when I asked "what if my knife my knife needs to be sent in".... I was informed that due to it being discontinued they could not fix this particular knife down the road, but a FULL credit would be issued to use towards a current knife in their line up. I also have experience with using one of these credits in the past. Excellent customer service for a company to be willing to do that. I'm eagerly awaiting the new catalog!

I’ve used their warranty service once. I bought a Blur, screwed up the thumb studs trying to reposition them. When I called and explained the details, I was told to fill out their form and send it in. They sent it back with a new blade at no cost even though I explained that I was the one that messed it up.
With that type of service, how can you not buy their products.

I've had about 20 zts through my hands, only 4 currently. Never had any issues with them. I have ordered pocket clips that got here without fuss. On a thermite, switching the pocket clip for left carry was impossble because the screws were not long enough to go through the g10 and frame. Kershaw had a longer set out to me in days.

If I ever did need to send some thing into them I have no doubt I would receive excellent service.

I currently own about 37 folders with 28 being ZT’s. Three of the ZT’s are 0888’s which are locked in a vault but all the others I rotate carry and use. I purchased most of my ZT’s through online retailers like Kniveshipfree or DLT and I must say they all function flawlessly, with the exception of a 0801Ti. This model actually made noise opening and closing with blade drag. I took it apart and noticed one captured bearing race had more plastic covering the bearings then the other side bearing assembly.
I went online to ZTs warranty Dept, filled out the info they needed and in three business days had a new set of bearings in my mailbox. It now deploys with viper like precision.
I can’t say enough great things about this kickass knife company.

Just remembered I also ordered a couple torsion bars for a 301. Also came no problems.

I had a 0620cf rebladed, no issue. They have sent me clips, screws, pivots.. damn fine service. Better than other popular manufacturers. I currently have 5 or 6, but I've had 15 or so.

ive got a dozen plus zts.....bought over many years. not one issue with any......course i can resharpen and reprofile so i dont need to send it back for edge complaints like that other guy.

so that many knives perfect in every way......thats pretty good in my book. top notch company.
