I don't post much so I'll give some quick credentials and tastes.
I'm almost 40 and I've bought exactly 4 every day carry folders.
#1) (age of 18) Benchmade Emerson CQB 7. 4" ATS 34 chisel ground blade, G10 handles, titanium liners/liner lock. Wonderful knife and State of the Art in it's day. Used it so much I wore through the travel on the lock, so I got...
#2) Microtech Mini Socom Elite - manual. Framelock. Beautiful, light, wicked edge grind. But, I graduated from police academy and realized that if I was wearing a gun on my right side, my defensive knife should be on the left, so I bought...
#3) Camillus Heat. O.K. Knife. Never liked the plastic handles and it would fail a spine wack test, so I traded up to my...
#4) Spyderco Chinook 3. Modified with a dremel (and a cold water bath for the blade) to wave out of my pocket. I wear it every day on duty (in the left side front pocket). My work knife, however, gets used around nasty people and I really need another pocket knife for backup to my off-duty pistol (so I still need go carry in the left pocket - hint hint - if you make knives - make them cop friendly (i.e. 4 way clip)
Anyway - if you haven't seen the YouTube video of the 0560, check it out. This is my new "Grail Knife" and maybe it should be yours too.
