Zero tolerance knives

The 470 and the 640 are very pocketable
Especially the 470 if you can get past the strange grip required to make it flip properly

Yeah but good luck finding one, I really wanted that knife but couldn't find it anywhere for a remotely normal price.

The 0452 is very similar and I like it a bunch, or I wouldn't have a handful of those as well. IMO it's a great design, I love the way it feels in my hand. Sometimes I think the scarcity for some of their specialty models is silly, they should drop some more 0454s/0777s/TiLTs/etc, they'd sell quickly I'm sure.

770 feels like an over priced Kershaw to me, to each their own.

I have heavy, tanky ZTs and light, slim ones. I suggested the 0770 because OP seemed put off by the heft of most of them. Also, I own piles of ZTs and the 0770 cuts best of all of them in my experience.

Honestly, when it comes to straight up production knives.....

ZT and spyderco are the only companies I am going to spend money on.

I appreciate zt's build quality. I appreciate spyderco's steel and designs that are light, inexpensive and functional.

If there's a zt you want, it's worth taking the $ risk if you've got the budget for it. Same with spyderco.

Currently have:
0350 (least favorite due to blade length being too short....in comparison)
0200 (it's a fixed blade replacement, to be honest)
0452 (I EDC this, it's amazing in every single way, as a folder.....it's never going to replace a fixed blade, but it is amazing as a folder....my first pick honestly).

ZTs are great. 0562cf, 0801ti, and the 0470 are my favorites. I have 2 0770s (a CF and an aluminum) and they're nice but I never carry them.

Pick one you like and give it a try. You can always make most of your money back if you don't like it. Also, find used ones. A lot of times people barely use them and you can get a huge discount on them.

I found a 0562cf with the 209 metal. Supposed to be sorta hard to find? Debating trying one out cause as said, you can usually resell for the same price. If anyone has one let me know.

If you want a Hinderer style knife then the ZT Hinderer collaborations are a more reasonable way to go for some people.

They make some lighter models. The 0770cf is thin, light, and cuts better than most of the rest of their lineup. I have two of them, one in black coated M4, so I can keep this one rigged lefty for when I pocket carry my little DB9 front right pocket:

Highly recommended. I have a 770 CF in M390, which was a special release from one of the knife-shops. It still sits in the box...for maybe 5 or 6 yrs now, NIB. It's a great knife, but just a "hair" too short in the grip for my large hand...
I just hold it, on occasion.... It's such a fine flipper...

I haven’t been disappointed by any of my ZTs...and I rock them in the same pocket with my phone both at work and when I’m outta work. Weight isn’t an issue for me, so I don’t pay attention to that but they have lightweight models as have been mentioned here already.

They’ve all performed well in either s30, s35, Elmax, whatever.

I know that they couldn't make any more of the 777's.

I purchased my first ZT several years ago, when the legendary 0300-series was introduced. Then, moved-on to the smaller 0350 specimens. Great knives, and built like the tanks they are. I'm not such a fan of their art-deco models, as I'm into more pedestrian working/warblades. The only 'down-side' to Zero Tolerance may be the selling prices. But you usually get-what-you-pay-for, in the knife-world. For some reason, ZT never makes deep-carry clips for their offerings, and I wound-up buying aftermarket ones. Here's a pic of my 0300 with an Off Grid model.

I'm really liking the 470 model. Few reviews mentioned the flipper tab being small. I sorta like the smaller tabs. Since it's not hitting everything in my pocket. The 770 looks very good also. I think these would be the 2 models I'll pounce on if I see something for sale. Thanks for the help everyone. ZT seems like a good brand to pick from.

I like the 562 also but it might be a little to much for my pocket.

ZT made that otg knife? I was looking at that one....was unsure of who made it.

I've had a few ZT knives and have only kept one. Mainly because they are often but and beefy but too much for edc use. The one I've kept and will never sell is the 0470.

Same here. I don't care for the assisted knives, plus I needed money so the 0770CF and 0350TS went many years ago. Were it a manual, the 0770cf would be one of my favorite knives.

The 0561 and 0801 were too big IMO. Sold those.

I bought on a whim in 2017 the 0095 BLK S90v, and though I rarely carry it, I keep it.

Big titanium folders do nothing for me.

+1 on the 0770 CF if you're looking to buy a ZT that is geared more towards being lightweight and sharp rather than
being built like a tank. I have an 0350 Tiger stripe partially serrated. It's a very tough knife and I like to take it fishing
and camping, but for EDC tasks where I might otherwise us a utility razor, the 0770CF is the way to go.

0450cf is thin, light and carries great.

0562cf is a true worker that can be EDC'd easily as it carries like a much smaller knife than it is......

The 640 is the only ZT I ve purchased in the last 10 years. Very nice knife. Slim and relatively light. Great steel.
As much as I like this knife, I don t carry it much.
