Zero Tolerance Onion Kershaw 0200

I am glad to hear you have started rehab, but please remember that the twelve step program for this addiction requires you to have one Kershaw for each of the twelve steps , I have completed the program numerous times and I am getting better every day !! Also rest easy in the knowledge that buying or not buying knives will have no effect on Judgment day !!!!

Dave

Oh my...that made me laugh!

I guess I'm on step one then.

ZT model 0302 Coyote Brown will be my step two.

Does anybody know about the 'advanced' steels they are using. Is S36\S60 or even 154CM too brittle for a large folder? I think 440C would be ideal but I think these new steels may be prone to broken tips etc.

Thoughts?

that's true if you hang around here! kershaw makes so many types of knives you will find a bunch of must haves! :)

topspeclt, if you actually end your knife buying with the 0200 I find that completely admirable.
You've done pretty well if you just went and looked up what a top quality knife is, bought one, and stopped there.
I'm sure you will get more use and enjoyment from your single 0200 than most addicts here get from the dozens of other knives in their collections (myself included, I just passed the two dozen mark).

Hi Joshua and thanks for your understanding. I've been looking on this forum and I have seen so many amazing knives. But there's one question that keeps bugging me: Do I really need it and can I do something better with my money? So I will end my spree with the ZT0200. If I lose it then I get a new one but for now, that's it.

Bye.

Now I don't want you to believe I badmouth Boker, they make some fine knives, but ZT's are a totally different breed. The Boker 101 is a good knife, pretty strong, pretty comfortable, but it's not even close to a 0200.

Thanks, I can only say that I'm -really- happy with the Boker AK101. My ZT0200ST has not been delivered yet so I can't compare. Do you have both knives to compare?

I'm really curious - can you be a little bit more specific on why the ZT0200ST is so much better than AK101 (other than blade material).

Thanks

Although some may disagree I think that this knife is certainly the same caliber as the Kershaw Zero Tolerance 0200. Since I own both I will compare the two at some point.

I thought you already had an 0200........
