Zero Tolerance ZT 0150

in wood is decent but i just loosen up a screw from my laptop and it was damaged, i had to finish it again with a sharpening stone

I laughed cause I thought you were being sarcastic. Then I realized you were serious, then I laughed more.

Look at the tip of that knife! Its delicate, like a rabbit...

I wouldn't DREAM of using the tip of my $130 knife as a screwdriver; however, I think you guys are a little tough on Angi. After all, there's an INFINITE number of knife reviews, advertising, and bragging out there and in this forum about how you can bend knives 90 degrees, pry open steel cans, stab through car doors, and you name it. This poor guy tries to turn a little screw with a so-called super steel, finds out it ain't really as hard as diamond, let's the cat out of the bag, and everybody jumps on him like he just insulted the prophet. UNFAIR, I say!
+1 Was a dumbass not too different from the OP not so long ago myself. Using knives to pry and unscrew things. Luckily I wasn't able to afford a ZT quality knife at that time:). Anyone on this forum or anywhere that says they have NEVER used a knife for ANYTHING other than its intended purpose............think again sirs.

To the OP; it was not a smart thing to do for all the reasons outlined in the more rational (non-humorous) posts on this thread. Live, learn, move on!

ZT 0150 is made of s30v , i read so many good reviews of how great it is, edge holding and tough, but the tip and even the edge is very soft, softer than an 440b i played with . You guys have the same problem with s30v? needs to be sharpen too often

nice to know what a dumbass looks like.

While using a a knife as a screwdriver is dumb, I should point out that I've used AUS8 knives as screwdrivers without causing any damage. S30V shouldn't be taking damage from a softer screw, unless you're really rude to the screw and the knife.

Angee..I'm surprised you outsmarted that rabbit. You should respect your objects. That steel is fine!! If it could talk I know what it would say to you tho.

So you shot a rabbit in your yard then took your knife out and had your neighbor take a picture? Why didn't you take a picture with your BB gun at least? We all know you didn't kill that rabbit with the knife and you also clearly haven't skinned it yet, which I'm guessing you never did you. You probably just killed the rabbit for fun and left it lying in the bushes somewhere. HAVE YOU NO HONOR?

It was designed as a last ditch defensive tool only to be used when all else has failed. It's designed to pierce flesh, not to pry with.

You mean we were being tough on him.

Last year.

That's the last time this thread was active. Everyone involved has moved on, including the half-wit OP.

Wow...never thought I'd see this thread again!
