I Just Recently Traded Into A Zero Tolerance ZT 0301 Ti Frame Lock Blem.

It's Gorgeous To Me, And The Blem Is Barely Noticeable.
I Absolutely Love This Knife.
The Ergos, Steel, Materials, Fit And Finish Are Perfect. It Opens Fast For The Bulk Of The Blade And Thwacks Open With Authority.
It Fits Wonderful In The Hand and Actually Feels Good In The Pocket For How Big It Is. It Nearly Disappears In My Pocket And I Don't Even Recognize It's There Until I Reach For It.

Anyways. I Love It And It's My Baby. Anyone Else Love Their ZT 0301 - Or 0300 Series - Or Actually Any Of The ZT Ti Frame Locks?

Also, How Do You Like The 0350?
I Want A ZT 0350 Or 0350TS To Go With My 0301. Do You Think They Would Make A Good Pair?

Or How About A Nice Leek Or A Nice Skyline To Go With It?

Anyways... Here's Some Pics Of My Baby:

This Is The Blem - The Two Little Nicks In The Spine, You Can Hardly Even See Them In Person So It Doesn't Bother Me.

I Want A ZT 0350 Or 0350TS To Go With My 0301. Do You Think They Would Make A Good Pair?

I have both. The 0301, for me, is just too big and heavy for EDC. Its a monster knife, no doubt, but I just don't need to pry open a car door that often. :)

I recently picked up a nice 0350 user, which was well priced at $60. Its more my style, as its still a beefy momma but a big step down in size and weight from the 0301. The 0350 is not a small knife, but it feels small after fondling the 0301. I carry so much junk in my pockets that its hard to justify the 8.5 oz or whatever of the 0301.

Or How About A Nice Leek Or A Nice Skyline To Go With It?

Always a fine idea. The Skyline for EDC tasks, and the 0301 for chipping your way through a cinder block wall or prying open a manhole cover.

I've really developed a liking for the ZT knives. This isn't meant to be a slam on the knife, but I've always wondered about this...
On that model, it looks like the nut on the pivot bolt, sits up high on the scale. Maybe its just the pictures, but if it is raised, do you notice that being bothersome ?

Actually It Doesn't Raise That High Up And It Doesn't Make It Uncomfortable At All.

Yeah, I'm Looking Into Getting A ZT 0350 Or A Leek Or Skyline To Go With It.

None what so ever, brother.

The 0350 is 10% smaller than the 030x, hardly a huge step.

ZTs are probably the best production folders going today. The overall bang for the buck is off the charts with these knives. I love 'em! I have a 300, a 350, and a 560. I still want to get a 550.

Would The 0350 Be A Good Carry Along With The ZT 0301? Or Would A Leek Or Skyline Do Better?

I usually carry a mid-to-large folder and a smaller sized folder. My 300 gets paired with a delica or smaller. The large/small works pretty well for me, that way you have one for brutal tasks and one for precision work.

The 300 was the knife that got me into good knives. I saw it and it screamed at me. Got a 301, 350, and i keep hoping for the rerelease of the 302. I'll buy three of those. Two two use until they're nothing but nubs, and one to keep pristine.

You like to argue almost as much as I do.

:)

But here are the facts. The 0350 is smaller in every dimension than the 030x, its 30% lighter (5.7 oz vs. 8.25 oz.), and the scales are flat and thin vs. the rounded, sculpted scales on the 30x.

Thats a big difference, which is immediately apparent in both the hand and the pocket. The weight disparity alone is a big difference.

In the hand comparison is night and day.

The 350 is tiny. :D

Not sure what the percentages are, but the flat scales and handle length makes if feel like its not there.

I like my ZT 0300 very very much. I thought that I would like the ZT 0350 too (even bought both black and bead blasted blades) but it was too small in my hands. No reflection on the product but when it's too small it's too small. Fortunately selling them and getting my money back out of them was easy.

I also ended up with a ZT 0200 and paired it with a ZT 0100 blem from kershawguy. That is a match made in heaven what with storing the 0200 in the sheath pocket of the 0100.

Of course this titanium close relative is nice too...

I would love to go for a ZT 0777 but that is outside my budget by miles.
