Zero Tolerance ZT 0301 - Who Else Loves It?

I Think I'm Going To Try For Brown/Black Skyline To Go With The ZT 0301.

Or Maybe A Leek If I Can Grab One.

I Wish The 0301 Had A Coyote Tan Scale.
Don't Get Me Wrong, I Love OD Green... But I Have A Thing For Coyote Tan Lol.

I Would Love To Have A Coyote Tan Scaled ZT 0302 And Then Carry It With A Tan/Black Skyline.
 
I loved my 0300 so much that I sent it to my son-in-law deployed in Afghanistan. Heard from him today, he loves it too! I told him to take pics if he can.
 
Bladechick, I think you have it right to pair the 0301 with the leek. I almost always pair my pe 0301 with a ce OD Leek. The thin, precision point of the leek is the perfect balance to the brutal 0301. You could always get a 1660DS so you get you tan.
 
Currently the 302 is no longer available. I wouldn't wait too long to get one. I like the 300 because it doesn't have the stripes. I do have to say that the 300, 301 and 302 are my favorite

Even though I am not a recurve fan in general, I really, really like my ZT 0301. It is in my rotation with my 0560, and 0551. These three knives have dominated usage to the point I really don't look to any other folder at this point. The only time I carry something else is when I am a bit dressier, and need something really thin and light like my Bradley Alias.

In a pinch, the 0301 is a great back up to a fixed blade. All the ZT's are overbuilt, and give a lot of confidence.
 
I really like my 301. I wish it wasn't an assist opener though, but not enough of an issue for me to get rid of it.

The 0350 is a big enough knife that I don't carry it much. I bought a 0200. Put it in my pocket once, took it out and sold it. Great feeling knife. Just too big for me to carry in my Wranglers. The Blur seems to be the bigest knife I'll carry. I'm not the biggest fan of the 0300 style clip either. So I've held off on the 0300 for now. I'm sure I'll get one eventually (as I love Kershaw assisted knives), but may carry it in a pack.
 
I have found that I really like the 030# platform. But I don't really like the striped blade. I thought I would. But I just can't seem to like it. So I will be trading off for something I don't have, or have never tried. I do carry my 0300 often tho. Sometimes it will even ride shotgun when I carry my 0560.
 
The 301 is my favorite all time folder. for my uses its money. ive never seen a blade that glides through plastic explosives like it does. since we are on the subject of this beast, has anyone know of a sharpener that is easy to transport in the field that also does good work on that recurve? something that will fit real smal in a ruck sack. i have been carrying a small ceramiv stone, but i broke 2 of them in my ruck.
 
I've been EDC'ing my 301 all day chicka.. even though I recently got the 0560, the 301 isn't goin anywhere...

I Really Love The 0301.
The 0200 Was My First ZT.
And Then I Traded It Off For A ZT 0400 + A Limited Edition Case Doctors Knife.
Then I Had To Sell Off All Of My Good Knives Because The Family Was Having Money Problems.

I've Built Back Up Though.

And I Have The 0301 And Don't See It Going Anywhere. Unless I Could Trade It + Something For An 0561.
But Even Then I Don't Know.
