Deciding between the two for my new EDC. The price locally are within $10.

From reviews the ZT200 seems to have a better built lock but the Gayle has better blade and lighter. How do these compare in size?

Hard to decide.

Can't say anything about the Gayle, but the 0200 is a beast of a knife. IMO, *almost* too big to be used as EDC..key word, of course being *almost* :D

So I'll second Nternal's vote

I can't speak on the 0200, but the Gayle Bradley is probably the best knife for the buck IMO.

Your choice will probably have to take into consideration what you plan to use your knife for. If it's gonna be for SD primarily, I'd say get the ZT 200. A big, beefy, beast of a knife with excellent ergos and the flipper that will be the guard in case you have to stab something hard.

If you're just gonna be cutting a lot of things, with secondary SD or no SD use, I'd say the Gayle Bradley will do very well especially with the crazy edge retention of the CPM-M4 steel. The GB is a cutting machine.

As mentioned earlier the ZT 200 might be a little cumbersome to carry(not a problem for me) and the GB will feel a lot better in your pocket. The handles on both are well designed but ergo preference is always a personal thing.

Indeed. I have and like both and the GB is definitely less bulky in the pocket.

If it were me i'd go with gayle. It is one knife that has been on my radar for a long time. The blade is really unique and cf scales make it look quite classy. Hopefully I can get one soon

the GB is really thin, it rides in my back pocket well. The CF scales are classy, the action is silky smooth, and you just cant beat CPM M4. I just dont think that the ZT's beefiness is justified in an edc role. still love them though the only complaint I have about the GB is that the blade to handle ratio is a little off. it has a large handle.

I have both and have used both for edc. I agree that the GB is smaller in the pocket and the carbon fiber has a gentlemen knife feel, however the ZT200 is definately not too big for edc and a great knife as well. My suggestion would be to try to get both via exchange/kershawguy.

Looks like the Gayle Bradley is the pic for me. The blade metal, CF, and lock are very attractive to me. Thanks for all the feedback!!

Got a great deal and got the Bradley and ZT300 :)

Hehe!!

your problem: get a spyderco GB or a ZT200.
your solution (in true bladeforums fashion), get a GB and a ZT300.

good choices BTW.

p.s. M4 steel is not stainless, it will get a patina over time.

Lol. Figure I get the best of both worlds and awesome blades. Always wanted a TI frame lock and a classy folder.

Had both, liked both.
Sold the 200 to a friend who is just starting out as I wanted him to start with a "good" knife.
Kept the Bradley because of the light carry for edc and because of the M4 blade.
You can't go wrong with either.
The 200 is a tank while the Bradley is a light edc carry.

Solution to your dilema: BUY BOTH !!!
