I just got one from a seller and unfortunately I'm sending it back. there is a ton of play in the pivot when closed. The action sometimes flips good other times flips softly.very frustrating. It seems theres a chamfer around the edge of the pivot hole in the blade, not sure if that's part of the problem. the knife can also be shook open. The other big issue is the pocket clip. Its horrible.Even though its machined, not only is it so tight to the frame, but theres such little space between the inside of the clip and the frame of the knife its very hard to get the knife in the pocket. it bunches up the pocket material and its a mess.I didn't try to bend it out but with that tiny space in there it might not help too much.Fit and finish of the knife was good. Was wondering if anyone else has one of these and has similar issues.

I was able to see it when I opened the blade. never disassembled it, just put it in the pouch contacted the seller and sent it back to him.

That doesnt sound right to me . Because you would have captive bearing washers obstructing the view of the pivot hole. Unless you are talking about the detent ball hole which has a chamfered edge in some cases.

Perhaps that's the problem. An absent bearing could certainly cause some play.

its the detent ball hole that has the chamfered edge. I was able to see the hole with the blade partialy open. not sure if that was the issue but its totally unacceptable on a 375.00 knife. that pocket clip is another issue, its the worst one ive ever experienced.glad its on its way back to where it came from.

Was this a used purchase? The chamfered edge shouldnt in and of itself be an issue. This is usually to reduce a super snappy detent that can rip a detent ball straight out of a lockbar. The knife may simply need an adjustment. I have had several knives that had in and out play of the handle because the knife had a slip fit construction and if taken apart you need to know how to reassemble and tune the knife. I do agree though regardless of the reason it should not be like that regardless of being a new or used piece.
