Zombie Hunting

H&K G11 and a lightsaber thank you very much. And that red head from Wedding Crashers Ilsa Fisher. She makes me feel tingley.

Foregoing explaining my food, water, etc:

A Remington 870 with some slugs and 00 or a Marlin 45-70. My S&W 29 in .44 Magnum or a similar Ruger in .44 or .45 Colt for backup.
A katana, HI Kukri, a functional bastard sword, or a big ole' kyzor blade if nothing else is available. Or preferably some combination of the above.
Since zombies burn, some molotov cocktails and some of those big grill-type propane tanks to make claymores from.
Finally, I agree with the car idea. If I'm in the city and won't need a 4X4 to get around, give me a big ole' car, not a new one with lots of plastic. Something like my grandfather's old 82 Cadillac would work pretty good for smashing zombies, I think, especially with some scrap metal welded on the front and back.

I'll take a Benelli M4 Super 90, a HK USP45 Tactical, a katana, and Sarah Polley to keep me company.

Heh, for some reason, I just thought of what the mans version of a tampon commercial would look like...

An AH-64H attack helicopter.

On a more realistic level...

I want my '67 Chevy Biscayne back from the city (long story). That thing ran beautifully and was a f'n tank. I got into a parking lot accident with a Toyota driver once and, while he cried over the remnants of his car, I chuckled and scraped the paint off of my bumper with my fingernail.
A Benelli auto would be a must (they make LH models that make big holes just like the RH ones).
I'll hold onto my Springfield .45, it just feels good.
A big kukri, definitely, though a katana sounds like a lot of fun.
My AR15 with the dot scope set low magnification would be great for quickly targeting and taking off their heads.
If I could find a good roof for zombie plinking I'd want my AR15 or even my ruger .22, since the ammo is easy to get.
And, of course, the grenades that everyone keeps mentioning (and a rain coat to shield myself from the resulting pieces).
Are we talking slow zombies as in the old Romero films or fast zombies like the ones in 28 Days Later? That makes a difference.

good lord I hope they are the slow ones :( any how...as stated previously...anything belt fed sounds good to me in a readily available cal., definately a .12ga shotgun and a reliable .45 pistol and a good sniper rifle for diastant zombie plinking, oh and a MP5 or UMP45 subgun would be fun to....I hope it wouldn't come down to needing it to fight off the undead bastids, but a good sturdy sword/chopper and various other quality blades for daily use...something large and 4 wheel drive to get around in and the nesessary food, water and secure shelter preferably on an island...and a boat...

An ugly Halloween mask and act Zombie-like so they´ll think I'm one of them.

Get behind them and take out the flame thrower.

Luis

I'd just reach down, grab the remote and change the channel on my TV to South Park.:D.:D.

I'd be grabbing a katana and a couple gladius... chain mail armour would be nice too though.

can't run out of ammo if you don't use any.

Sienna Guillory is so much better equipped, in every sense of the word :)
my only gripe is that in all that gear, she has no room for a knife? even a little bitty one? wtf? :grumpy:

Battle axe
Mossberg 590 20 inch version full stock ghost ring sites mag extension
katana and wakazashi
HK USP .45 acp with a buch of mags
M4
and of course armor something light weight but something that covers you from head to toe it doesnt have to be metal either Im thinking high impact plastic.

humvee with 50.cal on top u know something to cart around all the ammo and supplies maybe even room to attach a dirt bike somewhere. well probably something bigger than the humvee. but u get the idea.

Actually, if zombies ever existed (it would be possible for something like a nanotechnological disaster to create them) the best thing to do would be to get in a secure shelter with enough food and water. Eventually the elements, heat, cold, freezing and insect predation would kill the zombies out. It would depend on the season. But the flesh flies that eat up dead bodies via their maggots would be your friend.

In some places at some seasons insects would destroy a zombie in a few weeks. If you do not think so, ask yourself why land animals have automatic defenses that keep insects out of your eyes (blinking) your nose (sneezing) your anus (we wear clothes and have a sphincter, and horses have a tail and a sphincter) that help keep flies from laying eggs in your body.

In addition, zombies to have activity would use energy, and with no food source they would eventually starve or become weakened to the point where they could be easily dealt with.

The best weapon would be a club or mace of some sort as that would have less chance of spreading the infection. Guns would work, but human activity is needed to make ammo for them.

Zombie films always show such nonsense.

In the remake of Dawn Of The Dead, there is this crowd of several thousand zombies outside a mall.

A single good shot with a .22 rimfire could in only five days or so reduced the multitude down to nothing. Why Andy? the guy at the gun shop did not do so was never explained.

or a single good pitching arm chucking molotov coctails from a liquor store...
those also usually have grates/bars on windows and doors like gun shops :)
