I've watched the first episode and I don't think it's in the first one. The image posted above with the crossbow is from a later episode.

none of the police are wearing knives. The dad and his son only visibly carry or use something similar to a buck 110. The military guy had nothing, none of the campers had visible knives. Is one of the zombies carry one?

that looks more like a team gemini. You can see a bit of the top gaurd, and the pommell looks round. It might be a tick of the angle making the corner of the sarsquatches pommell look round, but the sarsquatch also has more pommel space between the scales and the butt. The gemini is closer to being flush with the scales.

It's not a Gemini look at the butt of the knife a little closer, I'm no Busse expert for talking points sake that knife has two holes on it not one.
 
the character carrying what I believe to be a Gemini is named Daryl Dixon whose played b Norman Reedus. He definitely is not in the first episode.

I'm looking as close as the small screen caps allow and I'm not seeing a second pommel lanyard hole, I only see one.
 
The Knife looks like it could be a Gemini to me, but did anyone else notice that the bolt for the crossbow is not on front of the string? Must be a OSHA safety thing when filming. With his finger on thr trigger, it looks like a "Dry Fire" waiting to happen.
