Does anybody here have one? I know the zombie-thing is kind of gimmicky, but I just love their designs. I don't hear much about them or see many of them and I was wondering what you guys think of them? I just ordered the Tainto off of their website and I couldn't find any pictures of it online besides the stock picture.

What are your opinions about Zombietools? Here's a link to their website http://zombietools.net/tools/

I've heard they're tough and good quality. Make sure to review the tainto when you get it (with pics) :D

Dont have one but I've only heard positive things about their quality. Tough usable blades with some creativity thrown in

Oh god why did i have to check this page, must...resis spending food...money. Im a knife nut and a zombie nut and now i see this...nooo!

I don't know about you guys, but carrying a knife called a felon (latest knife) doesn't seem too bright.

The rest of them look like they from LotR, aD&D or some Mall Ninja's fantasy world .

Well, I know a local who bought one of their swords and they are tough mudders. Gimickey as hell, but at least it's a quality gimmick. He was chopping up some serious sh*t. No car hoods or concrete, mind you.

That name is part of their gimmick, take a look at the story behind it as with most of their blades. These guys like history!! Plus, if the knife you are carrying is considered illegal by the local laws, I don't think the judge will care what the name of the knife is. :)

I am in the UK right now, but my Zombie Tools order arrived a day before I left. I didn't have time to take any pics or do any testing, but I can tell you that they are high quality. The acid wash or "zombie blood" looks way better in person and is less flashy than what appears in the photos. All the blades are perfectly straight with very even edge grinds. I can't wait to get home and handle them again.

This last order contained The Apokatana, The Zakasushi, The Tainto, The Deuce, The Reaper, and The Spit. It took about 8 and half weeks to receive the blades as expected. Don't let the metalhead, PBR drinking schtick fool you, these guys are very professional and deliver a nice product. I went ahead and ordered The Felon, the Bone Machete 2012, The Mack Daddy-O, and The Ferrous Wolf yesterday. These will look great in the mancave :)

Yikes! That's quite an order. I must admit, I dig their work too. Please, more impressions when you get back home and have had time to play with them.

Yeah, I went overboard, but that style just speaks to me. I am not a zombie nut or anything, but the darkened blades, handles and guards just look plain awesome.

Nice way to go all out Havoc :) If I ever got the cash, I will be getting a couple of the lower priced models.

The new Bone Machete with tanto shape looks good. Even rather dull it would open something up very well.

I think their knives are very fairly priced for something that is pretty much hand-made. I don't like the white splashes on some of their knives, but their most recent ones have more of a splash-like patina on the blade that is very subtle and realistic looking. I'm so anxious to receive my blade, but I don't want to wait 8 weeks :grumpy:

Their stuff appears sturdy. I can get past the cutesy marketing and silly names. I can ignore the f-bombs on every page. I actually like PBR.

But being seen in public with a bottle of Kessler's "whiskey" is absolutely unforgivable. :thumbdn:

:D

+1 on this. I've got the Apokatana; have about five more on my list. Their products are very nice; good steel, feels well balanced, nice finishing. You can get it without the splash if you like. They are first rate swords/knives.

Ignore the "mall ninja" comments...that phrase is overused almost as much as "troll". They are just having fun with marketing....everyone does it. Nothing about their style interferes with the function on my sword; and that's what it's all about, isn't it!

I think you made a good purchase!

I haven't got one but their Khukuri is very well executed with much attention placed on a well done traditional blade shape. Somebody there must know about "real" knives.

Yeah, I got their D' Capitan cutlass in satin finish! I was looking at the feedback for their Bone Machete on this site. I pulled the trigger. We will see what I get. Mall ninjas don't have the balls to pull what they are carrying if a psycho starts shooting it up. These blades are something I would trust enough pull just like I would a gun. Necro-thread, but who gives a damn? These guys are worth it.

I was close to buying one but found Fallen Oak Forge. Chose them instead as they seem to have a bit more selection of knives that give that "holy zombie chopper" look but maintain functionality. Well, he doew have some completely insane wicked designs, but I found my zombie apocalypse blade that I can take camping too.

His differentially heat treated 5160 is something you have to use to believe and it's all handmade.
