Zombietool Knives?

A triple post?! You must really be happy with it, then. So how much did something like this run you? And what are the stats on it overall?

For those who believe that ZT blades can not be used in real life situations, please look at the descriptions. They are just like any high quality, high priced blades out there. I bought the Vakra after looking at kukries for months. The only thing different was the kydex sheath and the choil. "Real" ones have a m shaped one. But the strength, durability, and plain beauty of the hand made blades they make is awesome. You feel confident that whatever you are cutting/hitting is going to loose the contest.

I'm having a tough time deciding between the Reaver Cleaver and Rat Bastard. Do I want a "Sword" or another big knife?!

Entertaining gimmick it may be, but these guys build some serious blades with alot of thought and insight on actual use.

I've got a couple of Zombie Tools blades that I chop at seasoned oak with, a Vakra and Traumahawk. They are good blades and stand up to the abuse I put them through just as well as my higher dollar choppers. My first Traumahawk's blade bent a little bit (it happens, even with Busses sometimes) and they replaced it, no problem, even refunded my shipping cost.

IMO they are good blades and the Zombie Tools crew is great to deal with. They stand behind their work, I had one of their very, very early models, sent it in for a sheath and a wrap and they offered to replace it for free because they felt their workmanship had grown much better since producing it.

Only thing I'd change is the sheath on the Vakra, it rattles around in there a little, I think an exposed spine sheath would be better.

I had been heavy into "the whole zombie thing" since the Night of the Living Dead remake in the 90's, but it's been played out a little too much and I'm pretty much over it now. One thing I'll never be "over", though, is good steel.
