Hey drnis, the other guy got back to me yesterday and brought the 0550.

I would appreciate an update on the 0550. I sent the payment of $165 yesterday. At 2:52 am Friday you verified I was the buyer. You then posted here that I was not buyer Friday 5 am. Thursday you responded at 11:45 am payment was received. I can post screenshots.

Ok, I’m gonna have to get back to you later. There were three or four people wanting to buy this knife. I communicated with them in the order they responded. You were the third one. I received a payment of 165 from a guy in Minneapolis. If that’s you then the knife is on its way to you and a tracking number was sent to you yesterday. I’ll look into this and get back to you later.
 
You know exactly what is happening here and my paypal is from Texas. I want my $165 returned.
 
I can post screen shots of your emails here showing I am the buyer and you verifying receipt of funds.

It appears that you have fallen prey, like many others, to a scammer who took your publicly posted email address, contacted you, and pretended to be the legitimate seller.

In that case, you have sent your money to a scammer, not the seller. This is why we recommend communicating ONLY by DM. Anything else is much more likely to end up badly.

Take a look at all the threads in Feedback by members who were penny wise and pound foolish with their money in order to save a few bucks on a Basic membership and fell prey to the scammers.

Do not post your email in public and expect good things to happen for you.

He's a gold member as you can see for yourself. Do a search on his user name in Feedback if you want to see if a member has any negative comments from the community. (That's the best we can do while the feedback system is unavailable.)

Your issue in this thread is not his doing.
