These photographs are of my daily carry knife, A modified ZT0300 made 02/09 serial number 0685, with a 3 3/4" S30V blade. I reground the blade into a drop point, removed the assist spring, waved it and added a false edge. The false edge is great for scraping paint, and such tasks that will dull the main edge, as well as improving tip penetration. I have carried this knife almost everyday since I purchased it, but I have only gotten around to taking pictures of it today.

Nice looking profile. Wave is a nice touch as well. Thanks for sharing.

Did removing the spring have any effect on closed blade retention? I was under the impression that most AOs had no detent because the spring provides pressure toward closure until it's moved a certain amount.

It stays closed with friction. I could drill a detente but I don't have a carbide drill bit. The pivot tight and the knife has never opened when I didn't want it to.

It looks like I've influenced some folks. I used a diamond ball engraving bit from my Dremel to drill a detent. Also looks like you torch colored the Ti. Nice work.
