I would like to get my first zero tolerance knife. I am trying to decide if I should get a 0350 now, or preorder a 0550 and get it later. If i went with the 0550, when would i probably get it?

Which do you think I should do?

taking into account that the 0550 is about 2x the price, i think it would be the better choice. with that extra 100 you get a cool new steel, very good design, and many, many rave reviews from it's many rabid fans. on the other side is the 0350 which i see as a smaller hard use knife. basically, a little brother to the 0300 series. if this is going to be your edc, i would go with the 0550. if this is kinda hard use, 0350.

this is coming from someone who owns a Zt, but neither of the two above. add equal parts advice and salt, stir, and take.

0350 is thinner. 0550 is beefier. 0550 won't be out for another couple months or so IIRC. 0350's are running thin. Depends on what you wear, how you'll use it, and what your lifestyle is like :)

Go ahead and get the 0350 now. Could be quite a wait on the 0550. And while you are waiting, get a 0200, 0300 and a 0551 if you can find them. You're welcome. :)

Looking at the price and quality you get the 0350 is the obvious choice. It even has features that the 0550 doesn't have. The 0550 is a marginal improvement in steel but much more expensive...

just wondering, if i put in a preorder on knifecenter for the 0550, when do you think is would arrive?

Release date is still up in the air but it's somewhere in the fall, maybe at blade it will be announced.

The 350 is plenty strong. If you need a stronger knife maybe you need a small fixed blade like the BK 14 or Izula

0350 is readily available. The other 2 are not and the 0551 will cost you more than the original going price. The 0350 won't disappoint.

Picked up a 350 from Kershawguy and it hasn't left my pocket since. I have to say I REALLY love the looks and feel of the 350.
