I mean I don't know anything about it. Is the blade some kind of non metal composite? I thought I might have missed some info. Or maybe I'm confused and this is what a 0350 x-ray looks like.
 
I think they are talking about the x-ray being new, not the 0350. The knife looks the same to me.

Cool. Looked like some of the blade was missing, but maybe is just a 'new x-ray' shot and I got excited for nothing. Probably just the blade gets too thin to show up.
 
I think the dark part is probably the x-rays being deflected away by the grind angle.
