ZT 0360 SKD Interest

Hey guys, We are trying to drum up some interest in the ZT 0360.skd in order to get KAI to notice and perhaps produce another run. They are a super cool change on the 0350 design and I think it would be awesome to have another run, but tell me what you think. List price was $155. Here are some picture to get you excited about it.

If they had been available when I bought my 0350 I definitely would have purchased the 0360 instead, but since I already have an 0350, I don't think I would buy one now. Don't get me wrong, I like my 0350 a lot, it's in my pocket now, and I do like the blade shape of the 0360 better as I like a sharp tip for opening boxes and such. I just don't think I would buy another knife which is exactly the same as my 0350 with the exception of a sharper tip. Now, if it were offered in an upgraded blade steel (zdp or m390) or a different finish (satin or stonewashed, i'm tired of Kershaws bead blasted finish) and/or handle color (blue or green might be cool), that might be a different story.

Ive seen this done for passarounds. They post in the general with a link saying hey "bla bla bla." So ya, good idea. Now we need to find those s.o.b.'s who voted "no"

Only if the steel is other than S30V. I have enough of that steel to build a small plane at this point. :D

As a relatively new knife nut, I'm happy with S30V for now, but I'm open to other steels as well. My main concern is price point. Funds are tight as it is, and the only upside to this not being readily available right now is that it gives me time to sell a few blades and save up for this one. :) Anything too exotic will raise the price, possibly dropping interest. Keep the price around $150 or less, and I'll be fine. Much more, and I'll have to sell even more knives or bow out (which I REALLY don't want to have to do).
 
Agreed I love high end steels but the 0360 carries the 0350 legacy of being one of the best knives at its relatively low price point, and a better steel would ruin that purpose
 
I love my 0350 and would not hesitate to purchase this version as well. That blade shape speaks to me, but I would most certainly prefer a stone washed or even satin finish...

Ya this would make it a more interesting knife. Isnt there a steel with a comparable price and performance to S30V?
 
looks like a few people like it! I think at the very least a change in scale color, OD, Coyote Brown or change the blade to stonewash would be the most likely candidates in keeping the same price point yet still changing it up enough.
 
Coyote brown and stonewash would do it for me that my favorite color combo. Just no orange im sick of orange. M390 too please ok im done dreaming.
 
Id like to see a digital camo handle with a sw blade and another steel besides S30V but not too much more in price.
