Zt 0392blk

That all black looks very nice - would be a great companion for the first one (stonewash with blue hardware).

I will second that these work great, the hand hold is beautiful on these. Just feels right.

I have not had any problem with the jimping or grip issues, but I typically don't use the knife with gloves on.

I did do the "can I open and close it with my elk gloves on" test, and it passed.

Good luck to the folks going for this one!

I am on the fence.. The 392 series do feel amazing in hand no doubt, but the all black dlc not really feeling it.

Well mine came in today but I was asleep ad couldn't sign for it. Looks goods congrats

Pretty sure a standard Hinderer doesn't come full Ti or with m390...and is $425 more or less. $450 for an Eklipse at most retailers...

I dunno, my RH is m390 and paid the "standard" price... Not knocking the ZT (AT ALL, great knife) but I am puzzled by the price point

Yeah, with the ZT you get bearings over teflon washers, lockbar insert over plaing TI lockface, full TI handle over G10 scale, and CTS-204P/M390 over S35VN. Furthermore the limited edition ZTs hold their value longer over the ongoing productions of RHK. And finally, with ZT you get a blade grind that cuts far, far better than the absurdly thick grinds you get on most RHK knives.

The ZT pricepoint is far more bang for your buck. In my humble view. New owner of an original 0392, and loving it.

Ah yes, the "limited" edition 0392 series. If you miss this one you'll never have another chance, that is, until next week when a slightly different color variation is released. I mean, good for ZT that this works and all but is anyone really all that excited when yet another of these drops?

Yup, I have been excited for all of the versions, and have the first seven versions, have the 0392BLK on its way to me, and the 0392BOWIE (international market only version) on its way as well. I also have a LNIB duplicate of the 0392BLUBOWIE, and a user 0392BLKGRN (which is in my pocket right now). Now that the 0392 series is done, I hope to see more RJ Martin designed ZT LEs!

Yep, and the Duratech 20CV Hinderers are also practically M390 blades. I have a 20CV spearpoint 3.5".

Wow. Well for those who want a Hinderer, those are great options!

I don't have any experience with Hinderers, so I can't have much of a discussion regarding their action, performance, etc (although I have no doubt they are awesome knives) but so far my experience with the 392 series is that I've been very pleased with mine.

The WC is my favorite so far, but the blubowie has been in the pocket a lot lately and has seen quite a bit of use...

This last version has the original blade configuration which I have yet to try out. All in all, I think it's very attractive and I look forward to using it a bunch.

Cheers to all who scored one.

ZT 0392s are no worse than a "real" Hinderer, in any way. The comparisons should really just stop. Buy the 0392 if you want an equally impressive Hinderer-designed knife in its own right, not because you want a "cheaper" Hinderer lookalike or alternative. Regular production XMs go pretty cheaper these days in the exchange and dealers usually have a lot of them in stock.

I got my hands on mine yesterday. Of my 3 ( Wc and Bowie) this is by far my favorite. It just feels better in hand that either of the other two.

Now I just have to go back and get the others. Looking to score an original (or two) (keep me in mind sellers..wink,wink)
