zt 0450 & 0808 comparison?

Both 3.25" of s35vn with titanium frame locks and KVT, they are both light weight for ZT...
Can anyone give me blade and handle thicknesses? I'm leaning heavily towards the 0450 mostly on looks...

No worries.

BladeHQ has a good database of specs but it was missing the handle thickness for one of them. So, I measured the handle thickness and weights for both.
 
All five ZT folders announced at the 2015 SHOT Show (January 20-23, 2015) and delivered within two months. All titanium frame locks with S35VN blades.

You can see 0808 and 0450 next to each other.

Yeah I think I prefer the blade shape of the 0808 but the handle of the 0450... Maybe I can buy both and Franken-knife them haha!

I tried the 0450 but found it a little too...petite... or something like that...wish I'd picked the 0808, looks just the right amoung beefier.
 
Ram, do you have a separate house just for knife storage? Thanks yet again for the great comparison shots. I've tried most every ZT and the only one I still have is the 450. Pure perfection!

ZT 0808 is great for EDC and has toughness much more so than 0450. I put a ZT 0560 clip on mine so it sticks out less. It has a low-profile flipper tab which I like but some may not. I would've welcomed some jimping on the spine. May replace the backspacer with standoffs for some weight saving and better balance. As is, it's a little tail heavy.
 
I decided to stop in at knivesshipfree's B&M location, which is somewhat out if the way for me, but I came home with the 0450, I love how "petite" it is, although it definitely doesn't seem as overbuilt/heavy duty as most ZTs, I'm sure it's plenty strong enough for my uses!
 
I ordered both 0450 and 0808 and really tried to like them for about a week. Great size, profile (esp 0808), materials and FF. My issue was they would just not flip open with even the slightest pressure on the lock bar. They are smaller knives so easy to place your index finger on the bar with normal grip. With no pressure, they fired like rockets.
 
Is anyone able to comment how the 450 and 808 would stack up against a 770cf m4?
how does m4 take a patina?

I just picked up the 770 in m4 and I was debating between that and the 450 primarily. The majority of my daily requirements are cutting double walled cardboard, plastic straps, and the occasional shipping crate/banding materials.
