ZT 0450 sharpening

I have a Spyderco Sharpmaker and I'm thinking about buying the 0450. I imagine these two don't jibe with each other? The ZT angle is way less than 30 degrees?

Actually i had problem with the angle being more than 20 degrees i was kinda surprised

ZTs are ground at 20-22 degrees per side. A sharpmaker will work on an 0450 just great.

Yup!! Works fine on my ZTs.

No problems with my ZT 0450 CF on my Sharpmaker. Sharpens up nicely.

All depends who is sharpening that day.

OP, the ZT you are looking at has a fairly thick and short (height) blade which can make sharpening a little more difficult. I typically use a DMT Coarse and follow with a loaded strop, gives good results in these cases. A coarse edge is not only ideal for the steel but because of the edge thickness it will help in making a sharp edge.
