The compact powerhouse ZT0450 flipper is now available in a very limited configuration with ZDP-189 stainless steel, which is one of the best user steels on the market.

What makes this one of the best steel's on the market? i just ordered the 0450cf with s35vn. ive done very little research on zdp-189 and ive not come up with anything that makes me want over m390, s90v or elmax.

id prefer elmax or m390 or even s90v, as i have knives with those already and i like them alot. my s35vn is a slicer. the boker exskelibur I carbon/titanium frame lock, hard to compare that to the others i have in the steels above due to its blade design and primary use.

i was debating getting the 0450cfzdp but what are the opinions if i already have the s35vn version? i use them for edc tasks, lots of cardboard and paper cutting too.

how many of the 0450cfzdp's will be made? would it be worth collecting, i would assume the value would go up if not to many were made?

does ZT use MAP pricing too? are there ways to get this knife for less than $220 that everyones advertising it for?

I may have to get back into the 0450 game, I like ZPD-189.
What's the price on this?

Got it. Totally great edc size knife. As far as design goes-exactly what I was looking for-the small carbon fiber model but no black out-polished. Factory going to sharp as a razor. Might push my 940 out of my pocket for a little bit. Question for owners-does the action break in and get a little softer? It flips like a rocket but it needs a good push to get it started.
