I like them both, and although the 0460 IS a bit thinner behid the edge, IMO the 0450 makes a slightly better all-around EDC.
These are my impressions; YMMV.
-The 0450 feels more solid in hand. I think this has to do with grip amgle more than anything else.
-The 0450 feels slightly more controllable, probably for the same reason.
-The 0450 has a less agressive tip; the drop point is more versatile than the 0460’s upswept persian.
-The 0450 has a snappier, more intuative flipping action than the 0460 (but the 0460 is still really good, especially now that it’s broken in).
Honestly, the racier 0460 is my dress-up carry. Once it’s in my pocket, however, it’s not uncommon for it to stay there a few extra days. On the other hand, I’m on record saying that if it was thinner behind the edge, the 0450 might be my be the unicorn of perfection for my EDC (I’ll stand by that—I’m a light EDC type of guy).
If you’ve handled them and they both have ergonomics that work for you, you’d probably be happy with either. I keep ‘em both around, but the 0450 is the one I’m thinking about picking up a spare copy.
