ZT 0550 Appreciation Thread

I'd call/email and ask before buying one. I've not heard of any stores in particular that have the new clip and lockbar cutout yet, most places are selling their "older" style though.

No. You'd have to drill and tap new holes. The old style has horizontal holes and the new ones are vertical.

Some of the scales on the 0550 shown in this thread are sweet!

I'm not sure how I feel about the DLC coated blade on the 0550 though. I'm a big fan of the stonewash finish and the stonewash makes it a little less intimidating to others when you use it to cut up a box or something at work.

I have to say, I had a 550 a while back but got rid of it. With the deep carry clip, I might have to pick up another one
