ZT 0550 Modified scale

Just was not thrilled with the scale on this knife. Rough on the pocket IMO. Counter bored the screw holes so that the head of the screws would sit a little lower then when new. Had to shorten the screws a little since the scale is now thinner. Also had to take a little off the pivot bushing to center the blade when closed, since I counter bored that hole also. Kind of looks like carbon fiber now. Bit of a change.

It was fun and I am pleased with the result. Was thinking to add a few undercut lines but have not decided on a pattern.
 
That would be pretty cool! Just call me Rusty. :) I wish I had the ability to change up the stock scale on my 0550.
