ZT 0550 new lockbar insert

ZT done good!!
I had a first Gen 0550 that initially came with quite a bit of lock travel. It started out around 70% and grew to 90% over the course of one year of moderate use.
I realized that this was not the normal 0550 experience, so I sent it in to see what ZT would do for me. . .

One week later!! A brand new 3rd Gen 0550 shows up at my door!!!
I couldn't be happier with the knife, with ZT customer service, with ZT's warranty or with the overall experience.

The 0550 was a must-have model for me, and I am glad to see that the design has matured to the point where it is now. Absolute stellar execution in its current form!

Just got my first 0550. I called around until I found a dealer with inventory that has the steel insert. Solid knife! I gave up on the 560/1 as every one I ever had developed vertical blade play with out any use. That 550 is dang near impossible to flip open using the blade stops!

It'll work itself out. Just keep cycling it, man. Your thumb will get used to it and the knife will break in a bit.

Also, make sure you're not putting pressure on the lockbar with your other hand.
