I was browsing through the forum and saw a all black zt 0550 with a choil on the blade the thread was a 2010 post but was this a production knife me wants

The 0550 prototype had a black blade:

pretty sure it never made it to a production version though.

That would be a fantastic knife as it appears in the picture. Same steel, same choil, same G10. I'd consider that one a winner.

It was the original proto. Changed for production...
