ZT 0560/0561 vs 0920 anybody have both?

Hey guys I’m looking for opinions about these two knives. I absolutely love the looks of the 0920 and want to buy one but my only reservation is I’m kind of afraid that it might be too big for me.

I had a 0561 in my collection for a few years but I never carried it because for me it was just too big, bulky and uncomfortable to carry. I loved the knife but since I never carried it I sold it. So that brings me to the 0920 I’m kind of leery to dump $240 on something that will just sit in a drawer and then be sold a few years down the road for a fraction of what I spent on it.

For me a perfect larger size blade for EDC at least as far as comfort in the pocket is concerned would be something along the lines of the PM2 or Endura. So what do you guys think is the 0920 for me or should I look for something else. If any of you have both if you could post up some picks of them side by side that would be greatly appreciated.
 
I can offer some side by side pictures between the 0920 and PM2 if that helps? I don't have an 0560/0561. Personally it's a big honkin' knife but it carries really well, both because of the low weight (imho) and how relatively slim it is in the pocket.
 
I havr had both, I sold the 0561 and gifted the 0920. The 0561 took up more pocket space. The 0920 carries smaller than it looks. I say get the 0920.

Truthfully if you like the size of the PM2 give the 0562/0562cf a try. This knife surprised me and has become a contender against the PM2 for pocket time. The 920 on paper may not to be as bulky as the 560 (love the knife but is a large carry) but for my tastes I hover around the 0562 and 0566 when comparing with the PM2.
 
I have both, can get some comparison shots up later today. I would agree that the 0920 carries smaller than the 0561,but it's a very subtle difference.
If the PM2 is the size you like to carry, I would echo the recommendation of the 0562CF.
 
Man I keep forgetting how big that 0561 is, always mixing it up with the 0566. The 0561 is discontinued? Since I can't find a dealer over here with it in stock, let alone find even a picture with a newer Gen version of it? (On dealer websites that is, all are lacking the Lockbar Insert) :thumbsup:
 
The 920 is a substantial knife. I don't mind a 4" blade and the weight is incredibly light for the size.

It's probably not the best edc for all occasions, but if you like a large bank vault folder that won't pull down your pants, it's a great knife.

I keep passing in the 560 line. I like the look, they look like they would be a great edc, but I just always buy something else.
 
ZT 0920 is actually a bit longer overall than ZT 0561 (9 vs 8.75"), but lighter than the latter (5.4 vs 5.98oz), and maybe the handle is a tad bit thinner?

If PM2 is in your more comfortable zone, I would not buy ZT 0920 either.

The 920 even though it has a 4 inch blade surprised me by how it didn’t feel that huge in my hand or pocket. The 560 feels like a larger knife.
 
The length of the blade doesn't affect pocketability, unless you carry your folding knives locked open. o_O
 
Thanks for the pics based upon those i think i might give it a try. It looks slightly larger than the PM2 but not unmanageable. I guess no way to say for sure until its in the pocket.
 
LOL. I look forward to seeing it up for sale in the exchange. "Catch and release for me. I had no idea this was so big. OMG! it's way bigger than my PM2."
 
I might start another thread about this but I figure I’ll ask here first. I think this knife would look really cool with a custom anodize job but I have no idea where to send it since it seems like most of the custom modders use social media which I don’t. Anybody have any recommendations on who does good anodizing work?
