Zt 0560 or 0350 which one and why?

I owned a 301 briefly it was a friggin tank! Unfortunately it weighed as much as one too and was just too heavy to EDC. Had a 560 it was a lot lighter had to sell it wish I coulda kept it. If I could have afforded to I woulda kept both.

I usually have 2 zt's on me at any given time, great knives and the 550 is amazing so good choice. Just remember they have a break in period so if it is hard to open at first just keep opening and closing it while watching tv or something. They get very smooth after that. You will have a much easier time sharpening the 550 as well.

if $$ not a problem, 560 without a doubt. It's a better knife. The 350 is a great knife too, but lacks some features the 560 has, like ceramic ball bearings, longer blade, 3d textured G10, ti framelock, etc.

consequently, 560 is more $$$

My first ZT was my 0301 some years back - less than $200 shipped then. Moose of a knife (The 0350 is it's slightly smaller sibling.). When the original version of the 0550 - the 0551 in ElMax - came out, I had found my knife! I even bought a backup - both were $199 locally. Then - the 0561 (Brown 0560.)... it was $260. My wife won't tell me what the Kershaw TILT! cost her... it's weird - in a neat way. I don't like clips - I carry my knives in my pocket. Not much for assisted open features. The 0301 is 'polite', while my Benchmade 790 Subrosa was too brisk (I recently defeated it's assist - much friendlier knife now, IMHO.). Flippers seem unnecessary - and look/carry weird due to the flipper's protrusion. Hmmm, what's left? Oh yeah... the 0551, or, if you cannot find that ElMax bladed goodie, the 0550 is a very close second. Of course, my 0561 is neat... but see's only `5-10% of the EDC that the 0551 gets - at most!

As to sturdy construction - it's a toss-up, although I tend to lean towards the non-KVT pivot offerings, like my 0301 & 0551, as wear-life hasn't been reported yet on the KVT-equipped knives. Blade thickness? They are all .156"!
